I made two – 1 mung bean and 1 coconut flakes with condensed milk. But you cannot really see the difference from outside since both are white and identical in shape.

This is not the traditional mooncake with the “signature” overly sweetness. I reduced the amount of sugar to the point of almost non-detectable. Also, it’s not huge. Traditional mooncakes are usually 4-portions, while those I made are about half a portion (30 gram each) at most. The outside skin is also altered, but still keeps the typical grape fruit flower flavor. So this is a hybrid of traditional Vietnamese mooncake and snowskin mooncake.
